Florence VanName Obituary
Florence L. VanName, a lifelong resident of Afton passed away June 8, 2024 at the age of 96, after a brief illness.
She is survived by two children; David (Cheryl) Lockwood and Dawn (Donald) Christiansen; two grandchildren Jill Gerringer and Karen Lockwood; three great-grandchildren Corey, Kailyn and Amber.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard VanName, her parents Lawrence and Edna Slater and her brother Harold Slater.
She will be buried in Eastside Afton Cemetery Tuesday June 18 at 2:00 pm.
