Gail Gaetani Obituary

Gail Gaetani, 78, of Binghamton passed away October 31, 2019 at Vestal Park Nursing Center. She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Steve Heath of Binghamton, 2 grandchildren Heidi Lynn Crampton and Ingrid N. Crampton, 5 great-grandchildren Dante Haynes, Olivia Schiraldi, Victoria Sharpe, Brock Sharpe and Leo Sharpe. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Gaetani.

Gail was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She attended SUNY Delhi and earned a degree in nursing. She worked as an LPN for the NYC Department of Correction at Riker's Island, where she advocated for inmates rights and Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. After moving to Binghamton she worked briefly for Lourdes Hospital and then the Binghamton Psychiatric Center.

Gail was a talented painter and artist. She was a wonderful cool and enjoyed reading.

A service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
