Lewie is survived by his devoted mother, Heather Decker, and his father, Gerard Lewis Martin II. He leaves an enduring imprint on his beloved son, Aaron Martin, whose bond with his father was a source of immense pride and happiness. Lewie's memory will also be cherished by his sister, Alisha Martin; his loving aunts, Amie Kranick and Linda Andrews; his uncle, Ryan Kachman; his grandmother, Pamella Helmick, grandfather James Wood; his grandfather, Gerard Lewis Martin Sr.; great grandparents Eugune Gleba and Beverly Trepp and his nephew, Dakota and his special friend Tina Papirnik. Each family member held a special place in his heart, and he deeply valued their connections.

Lewie was a truly kind-hearted soul, whose warmth and generosity touched everyone he met. He found immense joy and purpose in spending quality time with his son, Aaron, creating countless precious memories. His hands-on passion for cars wasn't just a hobby; it was a reflection of his meticulous nature and his desire to understand how things worked, often finding solace and satisfaction in the garage. Lewie possessed a unique ability to light up any room with his quick wit and infectious laughter, ensuring that those around him always felt uplifted and entertained.

Throughout his life, Lewie demonstrated extraordinary courage and an indomitable spirit. From the very beginning, he navigated significant health challenges, yet he never allowed these obstacles to diminish his zest for life.
