It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madame Germaine Jacques, 77 of Binghamton, NY who passed on June 8th, 2022 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her father Diselhomme Jacques; her mother Genie Mondesir. She is survived by her two sisters: Remercie Petit-Frère et  Mariane Petit-Frère; her three children: Mirlande  Augustin (Married to Gerard Augustin), Samaelle Touzin (married to Fao Exil) and Jean Moïse Touzin. Her step-children: Michade Touzin, Gardithe Touzin, Monia Touzin, Magdala Touzin,  François Touzin and Borooz Touzin. Her grandchildren: Jerry Augustin, Jennifer Augustin, Jeffrey Augustin, Carl Alexander Exil, Christopher Exil, Stephanie Exil, Meïssa Touzin and Milee Touzin.  Her nieces and nephew:Widenère Teaneau, Lena, Ronald and Idalgo. Germaine left behind many friends. Madame Germaine Jacques aka « Gran fanm internationale « was a strong, courageous and a  hard working woman who sacrificed so much for her children.  She was a kind, and gentle person. Germain wasn’t an intellectual, however, she always wanted her children to attend the best schools possible in order to achieve high education. She loved to watch Haitian news everyday. She was never tired of  knowing what’s going on in Haiti. Her favorite food was « diri kole ak pwa ». Germaine enjoyed life, family members and many friends. She was always there to brighten the lives of others. Her presence in the house will be missed very much.
