Gia was a remarkable woman who loved life! She had a colorful, fun loving personality that endeared her to everyone. She loved to create beautiful gifts which she generously shared. She collected Barbies and loved fixing them up, including making new clothes for them and giving them to children and organizations to distribute for Christmas. She loved decorating just about anything with glitter, gems and stickers, earning her the title "Aunt Glitter" (which she loved)
She was a beautiful pianist and had a gorgeous voice. Singing with bands in her younger years. She shared her skills on the piano with churches, nursing homes, family and private functions. Her final job was serving as the pianist for Glen Castle Methodist Church. She loved that and especially loved her friends there.
Gia was a great lover of animals, especially cats. Her beautiful white BooBerry survives and misses her.
Gias greatest love was her family, one and all! She would attend any get together she could to be with us.
Most of all she loved her children, Melody, Jennifer and Tyler. They and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
We are so grateful to have known her and thank her for leaving a little bit of "Gia" wherever she went and with everyone she knew.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Friday at the Glen Castle United Methodist Church, 371 Castle Creek Rd, Binghamton, NY 13901. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until the start of the memorial service. She will be buried at a later date at the South St. Cemetery, Triangle, NY
