Helen (Placek) Taylor

 Helen Taylor, 100,  passed away January 31, 2025 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Taylor in 2001 and her daughter Debbie Cook in 2016. She is survived by her daughters Sherry (Stephen) Elkins of Johnson City and Terry Roos of Watertown; son-in-law Jack Cook of Endicott; grandchildren Kristin (Mick), Jennifer, Casey (Danielle) and Tiffany (Sean); 5 great grandchildren Troeger, Makenzie, Emersyn, Sawyer and Logan; and several nieces. Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City and retired from Avon Products after over 50 years of service as a sales representative.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton, Rev. Robert T. Peak will officiate. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10:00 am - 10:50 am.
