Jerry G. Robinson, 76, passed away June 28, 2026, at his home with his loving wife of 44 years by his side. He is survived by his wife Mary C. Robinson and their children, Jeremy Robinson (Melissa Glassman), Kathleen Robinson, and Rebecca (David) Danisa; grandchildren, Amira, Elijah, Nadia, Elias and Charlotte; eleven nieces & nephews and several cousins. He is also survived by his in-laws, Dr. Doug Wilson (Kim), Bruce Wilson, and Grace Lamb (Brad). He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Coleman, his parents Herman Robinson and Geneva Reed and sister Mary Etta Gay.
A native of Lexington, KY, Jerry served his country in the US Air Force and the Army reserves. Later, he worked at Lourdes Hospital for 31 years and continued on at the hospital as a volunteer for another 10 1/2 years. Jerry was a member of American Legion Post 1700 in Endicott and the Endwell United Methodist Church.
He was very mission oriented; always volunteering to help out with EUMC's Monday Night Dinners, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army's kettle drive, working with kids in the community at Vacation Bible School, helping at National Night Out in Endwell, etc.
Jerry also was an avid golfer & enjoyed bowling. He rarely sat still, as he was usually helping others.
The family would like express our appreciation to the staff of the Oncology Dept and the Hospice Dept at Guthrie Lourdes. Jerry received phenomenal care from everyone involved in caring for him.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 11, at the Endwell United Methodist Church 3301 Watson Blvd. Endwell. The service will conclude with the conferral of Military Honors by the United States Air Force. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 - 10:50 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Guthrie Lourdes Hospice in memory of Jerry.
