Jiri Wickliffe Simon, 66, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed on November 3, 2023. Jiri was born in St. Louis, MO and was the fourth child of Herbert and Bessie Simon. His parents, along with his brother, Herbert Oliver Simon, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Jiri Michael Simon and daughters Natasha Fabiene and Vanessa Hampton-Wilkins; his sisters Yvonne Lakes and Brenda Ulmer; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and former wife, Catherine Kendrick-Andrew.
Jiri attended St Louis University High School and upon graduation attended MIT in Kansas City, MO. Upon completion of his studies, he received a certificate in Computer Science and accepted a position with IBM in Binghamton, NY.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am – 11:00am on Friday morning, November 17, 2023, at Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am followed by committal and interment at Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton, New York. Please sign his online guestbook.
