John Lee McVicker, 70, went home to be with the Lord April 4, 2025, where he was greeted by family and the numerous pets he loved during his lifetime. John is survived by his cherished family; his wife of 40 years Connie McVicker; their children Joni Lee (Kane) Kemberling, Courtney (Dan) Rosenau and Luke John (Myla) McVicker; grandchildren Konrad Jonathan, Ainslie Jane, Maisie Rae and Bella Grace; sister Sandra Brewster and several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He is predeceased by his brother Gary McVicker and nephew Donald Joseph Brewster. John was a graduate of Binghamton North High School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Johnson City. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and was a member of the Clan MacLeod. Family was the center of his life and he cherished all the wonderful memories he made spending time with them.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Johnson City, 1321 Reynolds Road. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Arrowhead Bible Camp, 122 Arrowhead Cottage Rd. Brackney, PA 18812.
