John J. Rincavage, 81, formerly of Brackney, PA passed away December 29, 2024. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen "Cookie" Rincavage; his parents John and Stella Rincavage and siblings Stanley Rincavage and Elizabeth Washburn. He is survived by his children; Warren (Thomas McNamara) Rincavage, Jeffrey (Janna) Rincavage, Heather (Michael) Vita, Becky (Tim) Johnson and James (Heather) Clark; 6 grandchildren Cassandra, Tony, Cameron, Dom, Paige and Caroline; 1 great-granddaughter Devynn; several nieces and nephews.
John was born in Scranton, PA. He served as a cook in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1966. He spent his entire career as a cook, having worked for Brozetti's Pizza, Wilson Hospital and at the IBM cafeteria. He truly loved to cook for others, especially for his family, whom he always enjoyed spending time with.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at United Methodist homes Hilltop for the care provided to John.,
A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a date and time to be determined, please check back for details.
