Lola Pepin Obituary

Lola Ann Pepin, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday May 19, 2023. Lola was preceded in death by her husband David Pepin. Lola will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Renee French and husband Tony French; her son David Pepin and his wife Kelly Pepin; grandson Brandon French and wife Leah French; granddaughter Leah Parvin and husband Jake Parvin; sister Sharon Hamilton and brother Jim Watkins. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Raleigh, Rogan, Sylvie and Otto. Lola was born on June 9, 1938 in Ohio. She worked in various capacities but is most known for her salesmanship at Fashion Bug where she worked for many years and sold many a blouse. She has been a faithful and steadfast member of Calvary Baptist church in Binghamton for over 50 years serving in many areas including Sunday School, youth group, Kidz Kamp, choir, bell choir, missionary committee, and many more. If ever you walked through the doors of Calvary you felt Lola in every corner, with every decoration and every flower in sight. She knew how to transform a room with her creativity and eye for decoration. Lola’s handprint is in every inch of Calvary. Lolas calm demeanor and gentle voice soothed all who knew her. She loved everyone she met and made a lasting impression on many. She loved the Lord, her family, her friends, and her cat. She was a stickler for cleanliness and not a piece of lint in sight was safe. She picked up anything and everything and enjoyed putting great detail into all she did. She loved watching Ohio State football, Fox News, and Pride and Prejudice. She rocked her red hair until the end, and never lost her strong spirit and playful personality. Thank you to all the Lourdes nurses and doctors. The home health nurses and aides, and Hospice. Thank you to Renee and Tony for giving her the best care during her final weeks. As much as you loved Lola, we guarantee she loved you even more and prayed for you each and every day.
