Lovene (Best) Davis

Obituary

Lovene Davis, 97, of Johnson City, passed away May 3, 2022. She was born August 21, 1924 in Tifton, Georgia, daughter of Emmett A. and Loni J. (nee Hickey) Best. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Eldon R. Davis and her siblings; Nadine, Omogene, Olan, Charles, Horace, Earl and Weldon. Lovene is survived by her four sons and daughters-in-law; Wayne (Paul) Davis, Danny (Joy) Davis, Dennis (Linda) Davis and Raymond (Donna) Davis; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lovene enjoyed fishing and often caught the biggest catch of the day. She also enjoyed shopping at Boscov's and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Binghamton.
 
She will be buried 2:30 pm May 12, 2022 at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Cremation and burial services provided by the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. www.HEFUNERALHOME.com
