Luetta Confer, 88, formerly of Windsor, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Chenango Bridge, where she resided for the past seven years. She was born in Sanitaria Springs to Wesley and Katherine Marean. She was predeceased by her parents, her in-laws Thomas Sr. and Ora Confer, beloved husband, Thomas Jr., and infant son, Craig. She is survived by her children Julie (Tony), Donna (Randy), Tom (Dana), and Jenny (Ron); grandchildren, Matt, Hannah (Trevor), Morgan, Lyndsey, Robin (James), Cooper, Mike, Erin, and Stef; and great-grandchildren, Alyss, Nolan, Elaina, and Wesley.
A loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma, Luetta cherished the laughter of children and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an excellent cook, seamstress, stained glass artist, and baker, always ensuring the cookie jar was filled with her delicious cookies, especially her molasses crinkles. She believed in helping others and was a dedicated volunteer to many community groups.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal service. She will be buried in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga, privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chenango Ambulance, Windsor Ambulance, Windsor Human Development, or any animal welfare organization, as she loved animals.
