Luis A Clausell

Luis A. Clausell, 68, of Binghamton, NY, passed away January 28, 2024. He is predeceased by his wife Emilia Diaz; father Teleforo Clausell Pica and his mother Augustina Clausell. He is survived by his children Alex (Cecilia Wallace) Clausell, Luis (Kim) Clausell, Alba (Anthony) Marion, Sara Clausell, Sheila (Brittany Haught) Clausell, Hilda Clausell, Jasmine Masso and Edna Clausell; 35 grandchildren; and siblings Benjamín Vazquez, Mígdalia Vazquez, José Cotto Clausell, Jesús Escobar Clausell, María Escobar Clausell, Verónica Escobar Clausell, Domingo Escobar Clausell, Frank Escobar Clausell, Sonia Escobar Clausell, Olga Escobar Clausell,  and Sandra Vazquez Clausell; numerous nieces and nephews.

Luis was an amazing father and grandfather. He was a kind man who was well known and respected within his neighborhood where everyone knew him as “Papi”. The door to his home was always open and everyone was welcome into his home. Luis found joy in growing vegetables and flowers in his garden, as well as dancing.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm Friday February 2, 2024 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton, NY.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 6:00pm. Luis will be cremated following the funeral service.
