Margy Dischinger, 96, of Binghamton, passed away suddenly January 15, 2026 at her home. She is survived by her cherished family, her son David (companion Doreen Cooley) and grandchildren, Jillian Dischinger (and Jarrett Purdy) and Jared Dischinger.
Margy was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, having served as both Elder ad Deacon. She was a retired teller from First City Bank in Binghamton. She and her husband Gerald lived in Vero Beach, FL for 23 years before returning to Binghamton to be closer to family. Gerald died in 2011 after 60 years of marriage to Margy. She also enjoyed baking.
Margy will be laid to rest with Gerald in a private burial ceremony at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
