Marlene Yuschak, 84, of Vestal, passed away October 16, 2025 at Mercy House. She is survived by her cherished family; her devoted daughter Daria (Rex Decker) Shierly; her beloved granddaughter, Megan (Adam) Seevers; her beloved newborn great-granddaughter Hannah Marie; brother George Argonish (Deborah Cariati) of Old Forge, PA; sister, Audrey (Charles) Rushefski of the Villages, FL; Rex's family, whom she cherished, Eric, Craig, Vanessa, Grayson and Nora Decker; one niece and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Christine Argonish and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Loretta and Philip Jubinski. Marlene was a faithful member of the Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Binghamton for over 60 years. The family extends their special appreciation to Broome Oncology - Dr. Madhuri Yalamanchili, Kara Spalik, NP and Mercy House for their dedication, compassionate and selfless care they provided to Marlene.
The Office of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 am Tuesday at the Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, 360 Clinton St. Binghamton, NY 13905. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 9:00-10:15 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to her church or to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760
