Binghamton: Mary A. Green, 88, passed away September 18, 2023. She is survived by her children; sons Daniel (Arlene) Green, Michael (Patti) Green, and David (Jennifer) Green; daughters: Nancy (Michael) Hannas, Christine (Scott) Twombly, Donna (Mark) Williams, Barbara (David) Krush and Maureen (Timothy) Leonard; twenty grandchildren; Shaun, Megan, Jonathan, Mary, Catherine, Michelle, Melissa, Stephen, Nicole, Hilary, Craig, Emily, Matthew, Allison, Brittni, Zack, Juliana, Alex, Kyle and Adam, and 24 great-grandchildren: Mackenzy, Austin, Alyssa, Liam, Henry, Declan, Finley, Greta, Maeve, Maddi, Ruby, Jack, A.J., Julian, Cole, Felix, Cole, Lillianna, Bella, Nathaniel, Owen, Olivia, Bernard and Edmund; one great-great-granddaughter Amelia; her sister Carol Pawlowski, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Daniel; a son Robert; sister Alice McCafferty and brothers Freddie and Joseph Reformat. Mary proudly served as a school crossing guard for 42 years. She loved polka music and attending the various ethnic festivals around the area. She especially loved the music of Jimmy Sturr. Family was central to her life and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending all the school and sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Church of Sts. John and Andrew for over 60 years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at the Church of Sts. John and Andrew,1263 Vestal Ave. Binghamton. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
