Mary P. Card Smith

 Mary P. Card Smith, 78, passed away January 17, 2025 at her home. She is survived by her beloved family; her children Thelma (Richard) Cope and Thomas Rigo; grandchildren Sharlene, Joshua, Thomas III, Jordan and Dillon; great-grandchildren James, Maija, Elijah, Maddie, Olivia; siblings Linda LaPorte and Robert Card; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Alan, great-grandson Thomas IV and siblings Donald, Frances, Leonard and Joyce. Mary worked as a housekeeper at UHS for 19 years. She had a generous and giving spirit. She loved spending time with her family, especially playing Yahtzee and Rummy.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday February 22, 2025 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm. She will be buried in Chenango Valley Cemetery privately.
