Melvin S. Webb, 86, of Binghamton, passed away on June 22, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Webb; his children, Theresa (Steve) Winsor, Kelli (Greg) Estabrook, and Kevin (Renee) Webb; grandchildren, Erika Backus, Tyler (Hilary) Winsor, Carlie (Austin) Bower, Jackson Estabrook, Marissa Webb, and Seth Webb; great-grandchildren, Avery, Sawyer and Briyar Backus, Tyler and Evelyn Winsor, and Romei Bower; and his special niece, Cheryl Webb. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Bertha Webb; and his siblings, Robert, Elizabeth, Francis, and his baby sister, Caroline.
Mel worked for New York State department of transportation out of Bainbridge, NY for over 30 years as a supervisor and he was a life member of the Oxford Volunteer fire department. He was also an avid gardener and wood worker, which he enjoyed crafting furniture for his family and sharing his prized tomatoes.
The family will hold private services. He will be laid to rest at the Warn-Ten Broeck Cemetery, Brisben, NY.
