Michael Patrick Maine, 70, died April 21, 2021. He is survived by three daughters, Jessica (Jody) Loihle, Danielle (Michael) Bruce and Patricia Maine, four grandchildren, Andilynn, Aaron, Madeline and Sophie, his siblings, Frederick Maine, Teresa McKan, Patricia Yochim and Wally Maine, the mother of his children, Deborah Annunziata, many nieces, nephews and special friends. He was predeceased by  his brother Leo Maine. After attending Binghamton North High School, Mike enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving during Vietnam, and was a recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal. After his military service he worked at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center for many years before moving to Melbourne, Fl, where he worked as a service technician for Walmart and cared for his aging mother. In retirement he moved to Apalachin to be closer to family and friends. He was very devoted to family and friends and was always there to help them in their time of need. He enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, hunting, fishing and golf.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:50 pm Monday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 6:00 pm. Due to covid-19 gathering restrictions, in person attendance at the service is limited to 50 people. Entombment will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY
