Patricia A Gesner

Patricia A. Gesner, of Castle Creek, NY, passed away suddenly after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.

Patricia was born in Suffern, NY to Lawrence N. Stilitino and Irene Smith. Patricia is survived by her children, Deborah Gesner of Castle Creek, NY, Michael Gesner and his partner Alison Stroh of Wurtsboro, NY, and Kimberly Gesner Green and her husband James of Vestal, NY. She is also survived by her three adored grandchildren, Madelyn Green, Alexander Green and Devon Stroh, and a younger brother, William. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 54 years, Richard, who passed away earlier this year, her step-mother Mildred Stilitino, and her older brother Lawrence Stilitino.

Patricia was retired from CVS pharmacy and remained close with many of her coworkers. She was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, despite her complete inability to pronounce the name of their quarterback. She loved to play video poker at Tioga Downs casino, which will no doubt miss her regular contributions.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 11:00am-1:00 pm at Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St., Binghamton, NY, followed by a brief funeral service at 1:00pm She will be buried next to Richard at Glen Castle Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to St. Jude’s.
