Peggy J. Potter, 83, of Binghamton, passed away Monday January 22, 2024, at Vestal Park Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Myrtle (Collins) Green, her husband Robert A. Potter, and her sister Judy Herko. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Penny Potter (Tim Liddle) and her son Robert (Trish) Potter; her grandchildren, Heather (Steve) and Keith (Briana); great grandchildren, Brock, Owen, Rose, Jordyn, and Teagan; her sister, Beverly Rosengrant, her brothers, Fred Green and Richard Green. Peggy operated Peggy’s Day Care Service for over 30 years. She had a great love of children and touched many of their lives over her career in child care. Peggy was a big fan of Elvis Presley, and she was always there to help anyone who might need it. She also loved butterflies. Most of all, Peggy loved her family and spent a lot of time doting over her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in remembrance of Peggy on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1 pm – 5pm in the Joseph P. Mangan American Legion Post 1194, 363 W Service Rd. Binghamton.
