Richard "Dick" D. Slezak

Richard “Dick” Slezak, 84 of Newark Valley, passed away on September 19, 2024. He is predeceased by his wife Grace Wolf; parents, John & Frances Slezak; siblings, Marie Luce, Neil Slezak, Tony (Joyce) Slezak and Frances Slezak. He is survived his children Daniel Slezak, Rob Slezak, Vin Slezak, Ellen Slezak; grandchildren, Justin, Rob Jr., Jimmy, Jesse, Christine and his brother John Slezak; close friends, Wendell (Sandy) LaPage, Jerry Youells, Steven (Kate) Gabello, Rick Bullock, Burdette Furman and Chet Rusiloski; and his step-daughter August Wolf.

Dick was a proud member of Mountain Trail Bowhunters, the NRA and the Southern Tier Metal Detecting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman who cherished every moment spent in nature.

Calling hours will be held Monday September 23rd from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton, NY. The funeral service will be held  10:00am Tuesday at the funeral home. Following the funeral service he will be laid to rest at Spring Forest Cemetery.
