Port Dickinson: Robert W. Harlost, Sr., 69, passed into the loving arms of his late wife Ellen on January 19, 2021 due to complications of Covid-19. He is survived by his children, Amy (Dan) Morgan and Robert (Ronda Najarian and  children – Harper Flannery and Jack Najarian) Harlost, Jr., his cherished grandchildren Macaila and Alex his sister Sandra  Heilman, his brothers Joseph and Mark, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. After completing his naval service he began a career with the United States Post Office, retiring after almost 40 years of service. He was active in the community as a member of the Joseph P. Mangan American Legion Post 1194, the Kattelville Seniors Assoc., Christ Episcopal Church, and as a dedicated Meals-on-Wheels volunteer.  Bob  was a hard working man who always provided the best he could for his family. He enjoyed travel, especially cruises, BINGO, crossword puzzles, and a good meal of pizza and spaghetti at Nick's Restaurant,  but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
