Robert "Bob" Koehler, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026. Bob was a true "grease monkey" at heart, with a lifelong passion for working on cars, especially his cherished Chevelles, and motorcycles. He also enjoyed the thrill of a good poker game and, in his later years, found comfort and entertainment in watching PBS.
Bob is survived by his adoring wife, Elaine, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship. He leaves behind two daughters, Dawn (David) and Wendy (Fred), six (plus two) grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom brought joy to his life. He is also survived by his sisters, Sheryl and Kathy. Bob was predeceased by his siblings Nancy, Carolyn, Brian, and Donald, and his nephew, Danny.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family invites you to make a contribution to your local PBS station in memory Robert.
