Roberta Schaff Hauser

Roberta Louise (Schaff) Hauser was born on October 17, 1917, and passed peacefully on May 20, 2023, at 105 years old. In 1938 she married George A. Hauser, with whom she had three children. George died in 1996. Roberta is also predeceased by her parents, Harold A. Schaff and Bernice M. Schaff, her brother, Norman Schaff, and son, Stephen J. Hauser, (1990)

Roberta is survived by her daughters, Cinde Hauser Bergfjord (George) and Jody Hauser Eastlick (Norman), her granddaughters, Shona Eastlick and Denise Hauser Smith (Timothy), her grandsons, Johan Bergfjord (Sara), Robin Eastlick (Mimi), and Andrew Eastlick (Amy). She has six great-grandchildren, Jamin, Tess, Fenton, Bristol, and Wyatt Bergfjord, and Willow Comstock-Eastlick. She is also survived by Elaine Hauser, her daughter-in-law. (Stephen). Her friends, including her Bible students over the years, loved her and are too numerous to count.

Roberta dedicated her life to her God, Jehovah, and was baptized as a teenager. Roberta truly lived the best life ever and was a shining example of faith and loyalty to her God, spending her life in His service. She was a member of the Johnson City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Roberta deeply believed in all the promises contained in the Bible, of an earthly paradise filled with peace and righteousness, including a resurrection on earth of those who have fallen asleep in death. She spent most of her life dedicated to helping others learn about those very promises. Her family and friends eagerly await the time when we can be together again.

We are deeply grateful to the staff at UHS/Ideal Nursing for the care provided to Roberta during the past few years, and to all others who helped to support her and showed love to her throughout her later years. Arrangements will be announced at a future date.
