Rose Finch

Rose Finch, 91, of Binghamton, passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home on August 31, 2025. She is survived by her cherished family; her daughters Rena (Dale Harrington) Barber and Terry (Russell) Jenks; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Petrus, Jennifer Jenks, Lisa Davis, Todd Finch; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a sister Harriett Martin; two brothers William and Jack (Connie) Finch; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son  Donald Zecca and daughter Janet Finch; her sister Charlotte Hendricks and her long-time companion William Whitman.

Rose was a talented crafter who enjoyed crocheting, knitting and making jewelry. She loved spending time with her family She was very kind and empathetic, always somehow sensing when someone needed some attention or extra care. She also loved her many cats.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 pm Friday Sept. 12 at Spring Forest Cemetery, Mygatt St. Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, make a gift in Rose's memory to the animal charity of your choice or St. Jude's Hospital.
