Rosemarie was called home to be with the Lord after a hard-fought battle with a terrible disease.
She enjoyed being outdoors, taking walks, and connecting with nature. Rose had an outgoing personality and a friendly demeanor, which made her loved by everyone around her. She never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything and always brought a smile to your face, especially on difficult days.
Rosemarie was survived by her husband, Jeffrey Tingley of Binghamton, NY, and predeceased by her parents, Herman and Delores Jennings of New Milford, PA.
Rose had many friends whom she held close to her heart, including her special friends Pauline and Kandy. She was also deeply loved by her husband’s family, especially her nieces and nephews Hailey, Jackson, Jude, and Summer, who brought a twinkle to her eye. Her faithful dog and "snuggle buddy," Ryder, held a special place in her heart as well. As a resident of East Hills, she was surrounded by neighbors who deeply mourn her absence.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Harris and the staff at Broome Oncology, as well as the staff at Guthrie-Lourdes Hospice. Additional thanks go to Father Clarence Rumble, Linda Cerra, the staff, and the many volunteers at Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
At the request of the family, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
