Sally L. Hurban, 83, of Binghamton, passed away June 1, 2026. She is survived by her beloved family; her daughters, Carole (Randall) Krytusa of Liverpool, NY, Tina (Steven) Zdimal of Binghamton, and Terri (Donald) McMahon of Kirkwood; 6 grandchildren, Robert Hill, Jr., Courtney Hill, Timothy Zdimal, Stephanie Straub, Kristen Bunker and Kelli Bunker; 8 great-grandchildren, Corbin, Riley, Brooks, Breese, Asher, Roczen, Kenleigh and Raina; brothers, Richard Snyder of Sebastian, FL, Donald (Linda) Snyder of Binghamton, James (Brenda) Snyder of Sebastian, FL and John "Jack" Snyder of Binghamton; a special niece, Cristina Camera and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally was preceded in death by her beloved husband William in 1993; siblings, Robert Snyder and Elizabeth Lewis and her beloved cat, Catsgo.
Sally was a member and past president of the Red Hat Society and a member of the First Ward Senior Citizens Center. With her husband, she enjoyed traveling across the United States. In later years, she enjoyed traveling to several European countries. She also enjoyed casino trips to play the slots. She was a talented crafter and enjoyed gardening. Above all else, Sally lived for her family, loving everyone deeply. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially sweets and for holiday meals.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Monday June 8, at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. She will be buried in a private graveside ceremony at Slovak Catholic Cemetery.
