Saverio Mastronardi, Jr.

Saverio "Sachie" Mastronardi, Jr., 38 of Susquehanna, PA, formerly of the Binghamton area, finished his valiant fight on Friday September 25, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, after an eight year battle with lymphoma. He is survived by his mother Christina Minicozzi of Kirkwood, his sister, Theresa Nicholson of Susquehanna, PA, 4 nephews and 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his father Saverio Mastronardi, Sr. and a sister Johanna Lopez.
 
Until illness prevented him from working, Sachie worked as a cook at a number of local and regional restaurants. He was a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees.
 
He had a loving and caring personality, always willing to help and do for others and loved deeply by others in return.. He never complained about the challenges his illness caused in his life.. His greatest source of joy in life was spending time with his nephews.
 
There will be no public services at this time.
