Sharon L. Glovasky, 78, passed away on March 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. She is survived by Richard L. Glovasky, her beloved husband of over 53 years; their children Sarah Keatings (Miguel Sanchez) and Christine McGraw (Robert); three cherished grandchildren, Megan, Emily, and Caitlin; sister Patricia Arnold; many close family members and friends. Sharon was born on June 19, 1945, to Joseph and Alma Pedro in Binghamton, NY.
Sharon was a devout Roman Catholic who lived her life guided by her strong faith and beliefs. She found comfort, purpose, and fulfillment through her active involvement in the church community. Sharon was known for her kindness and generosity, always willing to help others without expecting anything in return. She had a great sense of humor and brought joy and laughter to everyone around her. Sharon's positive attitude, enthusiasm, and love of connection made her a pleasure to be around. Sharon lived on her terms, cherishing her family and friends, creating beautiful memories through shared experiences, celebrations, and laughter-filled gatherings. Sharon lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with grace, courage, and a determined spirit.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday April 5 at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am - 12:50 pm.
