Thomas P. Allen

Thomas P. Allen, 60, passed into the arms of his loving mother Nancy on July 12, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Brenda Allen; his father Thomas Allen; sister and brother-in-law Kelly and Douglas Dailey; mother-in-law Gail Jackson, father-in-law Douglas Gardner; sisters-in-law Michelle Reynolds and Tricia (Lee) Brown, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, step-sisters and brothersw in laws,  his many friends from the collector car and hobby train  communities and his beloved dog HoneyBea. He was predeceased by his mother Nancy, his friend and brother-in-law David Gardner, and his dog  AppleBea. 

Tom graduated from SVHS, class of 1979. He formerly worked as a mechanic for the City of Binghamton. Tom enjoyed collecting Lionel trains as well as building and racing radio controlled cars and airplanes. He enjoyed the many hours he spent with friends in his garage working on his 55 Ford Victoria or helping repair things for others.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am -10:50 am. Burial will follow in Hawleyton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may make a memorial contribution to the UHS Foundation, Willow Point Nursing Home or Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
