Virginia L. (Fields) Spry

Virginia Louise Spry “Ginny”
  Ginny was born in Oneonta, NY on July 14, 1943. She was the 5th child of the late Claudine and Harry Fields. Ginny passed away peacefully on September 22, 2022,at the age of 79 at home with family. She was a long-time resident of Port Crane, NY, where she raised her family.
 Ginny worked many years at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, NY. Later she went on as a life long care taker and companion. Ginny had a heart of gold. She enjoyed classic country music, thrift stores, vacationing with family, playing Kismet, and we can’t forget her TV shows, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Hallmark movies, HGTV, and sports. 
 Ginny is survived by her sisters Barbara Tripp (Don), Bette Utter (Dick), Joyce Haight, her son Timothy Spry (Gail), daughters Cindy VanBarriger (Bob) and Pamela Wheeland (Todd). She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Spry, brother Harry Fields Jr.,and sister Beverly Henry. Ginny had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.  She was well loved and will be deeply missed by all.
 There will be a private memorial for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
