William "Bill" Michael Starks, 62, of Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by love near and far on July 4th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
He is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy E Starks. He is Survived by his children, Nicholas (Heather) Cunningham, of Florida, and Danielle Starks; his father David W (Donna) Starks; siblings Marsha Padilla, of Las Vegas, David P Starks, Kimberly(Claudio) Carpentieri, Lisa (Howard) Holcomb, Kevin Thomas, Scott Starks, Patrick (Diana) Starks, Lorri Griffiths, and Kelli Starks; his beloved grandchildren, Jonathan, Lilian, Connor, Avery, Trevor, Aiden, Tristen, Adalynn; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he helped guide and raise.
Bill was an avid sports fan. He especially loved hockey and the Yankees. He was a painter by trade, and a one-time shark wrestler. He loved music, and always wished to sing again. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping. He was the kind of man that could always be depended on. He was quick-witted, funny, and loved making people laugh. He fought a long hard battle with cancer, and what kept him going through it all was the unwavering love he had for his children and grandchildren.
To his closest friends, Chris Stewart, Brian Reed, Robert (Bob) Pornbeck, Joe Turner, and many many more, You pushed, challenged, grew, loved, and laughed with him, and his family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts,
