Louis O. Perman, 88, of Binghamton died suddenly January 2, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eleanor Zurner Perman, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Rhea Perman and his sister Jeanne Mattson-Bell. Lou graduated from North High School, class of 1947. He was employed at NYSEG for 42 years. He was a lifelong active member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and a dedicated volunteer for the Broome County Council of Churches and C.H.O.W. Lou will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially his buddies at Dick's Garage.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 83 Main St. Binghamton. A private burial service will be held Friday at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his church.
