Constance Pekera Obituary
Constance "Connie" Pekera, 84, passed away April 16, 2018 at Mercy House. She is survived by her daughters; Lucia LaBarre of Endicott and Susan (Steven) Serdula of Binghamton, 2 grandchildren; Lara and Tai LaBarre, her siblings; Frank (Joan) Martino, Gene (Colleen) Martino, Angelo (Jackie) Martino, Susan Stento, Andy (Robin) Martino, Phil (Barbara) Martino and Mary (Jerry) Jones, many nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her husband Paul Pekera, her parents Angelo and Susan Martino and sister Lucille (Gus) Ruggeri. Connie's entire family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Mercy House for the loving and compassionate care they provided during Connie's stay there.
A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Mercy House in Connie's name. Services provided by the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
