Rachel (Molin) Boerst

Rachel Ann Molin Boerst, 77, of 33 Newberry Dr., Endicott NY, and formerly of Jamestown NY, passed away Tuesday Dec. 31, 2018 at Binghamton General Hospital after a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Jamestown NY, Rachel was born Oct. 23, 1941 to the late Gilbert and Elva Bailey Molin.
Rachel was a graduate of Jamestown High School, class of 1959. Following graduation, she worked for the Social Security Administration for 10 years. After raising her daughters, she was employed by Jamestown Public Schools until retirement in 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Boerst; daughters: Robin Boerst and Julie (Joe) Boerst Italiano; grandchildren: Dmitri, Susanna, Beatrice, and Violet Italiano, all of Endicott NY; two sisters: Diana Gronquist of Jamestown NY, and Linda Costanzo of Hemlock NY; brother-in-law Robert Boerst; sisters-in-law Betty Lou Blixt and Barbara (Ed) Slumsky.
Per the family's wishes, Rachel's body was donated to the University of Rochester Anatomical Gifts Program, Rochester NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
