Aldo Ricardo Rea

Aldo Ricardo Rea, 65, passed away unexpectedly March 26, 2024. He is survived by Prudence Szelkowski,his beloved life partner of over 40 years; their children Ashley (Chris Rigo) Rea and Brittany Rea; Prudi's son Todd (Liza) Szelkowski; 4 cherished grandchildren Mackenzie, Gianna, Mason and Peyton; siblings Roberto Rea, Fedora Boyd, Dolores Glazier and Adrian Rea; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Inez Rea.

Aldo was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a truck driver for Bothar Construction Co. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He actively supported and attended his granddaughters travel softball games. He also loved his cats and in the last year enjoyed raising chickens at his home.

His funeral service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Military Honors will be accorded.
