Barbara Ruth (Bahneman) Buczek

Barbara Ruth Buzcek, 90, passed away July 20, 2021. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Ann Pawela; grandson John Pawela; 3 great-granddaughters Ashlynn, Gabrielle and Olivia. She was predeceased by her companion Dave Brown and her brothers Carl and Sonny Bahneman. Barbara enjoyed playing pinochle at both the Johnson City and Conklin Senior Citizen Centers. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Binghamton, Otseningo Chapter #14 OES and Queen May Court Order #106 of the Amaranth.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Monday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 pm - 5:50 pm. She will be buried in Smithfield East End Cemetery,in her native Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
