Elfriede (Rosner) Rothemeyer

Elfriede Rothemeyer, 98, died March 1, 2020 at the Willow Point Nursing Home. Born in Ost Preusen (East Prussia), during her early life she endured the hardships of World War II.  She married Gunther Rothemeyer and in 1955 moved to the United States, settling in Conklin, NY where she raised her three sons, Walter, Frank and Bernd.  She worked many jobs over the years, including as a stitcher at Eureka Tent and Awning in Conklin. 
 
She was predeceased by her parents Otto and Louisa (Eichler) Rosner, her husband Gunther and son Frank. She is survived by her son Bernd (Linda) and Walter, 3 grandsons Michael (Sabrina), Dayn (Kristyn) and Corey, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
She will be buried alongside Gunther and Frank in Riverhurst Cemetery in Endwell in a private ceremony.
