Gilbert Raymond Yuill, Sr.

Gilbert Raymond Yuill, 77, died Saturday September 26, 2020 at Wilson Hospital. Born August 16, 1943 in Manhattan, son of James and Helen (Christ) Yuill, Gil served in the U.S. Air Force before beginning a career with the NYC Transit Authority. He was a member of Matinecock Lodge #806 F & AM, Oyster Bay Long Island. He has been a resident of Harpursville for the past several years. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Baker) Yuill, son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert and Kathy Yuill, Jr., four grandsons Christopher, Steven, Michael and Matthew, his sister Jeanne Prothe and two brothers James A. Yuill and Walter R. Yuill.
 
A Masonic funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday September 29, 2020 at Knox Cemetery, 529 Dutchtown Rd. Ouaquaga, NY. Services will be under the direction of Windsor Lodge #442 F & AM. Following the Masonic funeral military honors will be conferred by the U.S. Air Force with the assistance of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Association.
