Irvin "Herbie" C. Brown

Irvin C."Herbie" Brown, 78, of Endwell, formerly of Binghamton passed away January 19, 2018. He was born and raised in Johnson City. He was predeceased by the mother of his children, Sheila Brown and his son Raymond Brown. He is survived by his daughter Judy (Kevin) Rice, son Robert (Danielle) Brown, grandchildren, Shannon (Rene`) Rice, Kyle Rice, Matt Rice, Ethan Brown and Ava Brown, great-granddaughter Jocelyn, his siblings, Shirley Ludy, Donald (Lorraine) Brown, Geraldine Pipher, Marilyn (Richard) Barnett and Nancy (Matt) Launikitis.
 
He served in the U.S. Army and while stationed in Germany met Sheila, who became his wife of 38 years. He worked for and retired from Willow Run Foods and owned Brown's Variety on Robinson St. for 21 years. He was a member of the Binghamton German Club.
 
A toast to celebrate "Herbie's" life will be held from 6-9 pm Saturday January 27 at the House of Reardon, 25 Grant St. Binghamton.
