Milton Bublinec, 89, passed away at his home on September 26, 2018. He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Reta Snyder Bublinec, his sister in-law Anne Perham, and nieces and nephew, Sally Bublinec (Paul Tomik), William (Kathryn) Benoay and Rosemary Benoay. Milt was predeceased by his parents Ignac and Rose, Bublinec, siblings, Stephen and Thomas Bublinec and Mary (Leroy) Benoay; father-in-law and mother-in-law Walter and Myrtle Snyder and a nephew Thomas Benoay.
In 1990 Milt retired from IBM Owego after 36 years of service. He was a lifelong member of John Hus Presbyterian Church of Binghamton. He was also a member of Binghamton Lodge 177 F.& A. M., Otseningo Bodies A.A.S.R., Kalurah Shrine, it’s Legion of Honor and the Czechoslovak Moravan Club. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving on the USS Columbus.
Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at the John Hus Presbyterian Church, 47 Glenwood Ave, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family asks that charitable donations be made to the Broome County Dog Shelter, 110 Cutler Pond Rd. Binghamton, NY 13905.
