With love and gratitude, we thank God for the gift of Nancy Sloan of Chenango Bridge, New York. On June 25th, 2022, she joined in Heaven her husband Robert Sloan, her parents Anna and John Ash, brothers John (infant), James, Robert (Joanne), and Francis Ash, sisters Jean (John) O'Neill, Shirley Ash, niece Karen O'Neill, and many dear friends.
As a Singer Link Administrative Assistant, Nancy excelled. It was there that she and Bob met and married on June 22, 1963. Her dream of being a stay-at-home mother was realized two years later. One would be hard pressed to find a woman better matched for this role. Nurturing and selfless, her family was molded by her deep Christian faith, compassion for others, incredible positivity and wit, and graceful strength. A perfectionist at heart, Nancy partnered with her artist husband as he created countless projects; she was his toughest critic! She was laughter, love, and loyalty - a beautiful spirit always mindful of what is truly important.
Celebrating her Homecoming is her son Dana, daughter Ronne Sisco and son-in-law Kent, son Colin and daughter-in-law Gina, her two grandsons Kellan and Dominic, her three granddaughters Ramsey, Davy, and Rylan, her sister Judy Marcus, and her affectionate cheering section of nieces, nephews, and family friends. Our family was blessed by the compassionate, devoted staff at the Elizabeth Church Manor; they, too, discovered how easy it was to love her.
To honor Nancy's wish, formal services will not be held. Toasting you, our precious Mom and Gramma, with a Coke and a kolachky. La-lou!
