Patrick Edward Mitzel, 68, passed away September 12, 2022. He is survived by his father Alvah Shaffer; his siblings, John Mitzel, Kathy Davies, Barbara Warner, Michael Mitzel and Holly Storey; his special friend Sharon Little; several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his wife Joy, his father John Mitzel, mother Barbara Shaffer and sister Candy Meeker. Patrick was a graduate of Windsor High School. He had a goofy sense of humor which will be missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, family get togethers, Ford Mustangs and watching NASCAR.

Honoring Patrick’s request, there will be no public services. Those wishing to honor him may make a donation to a charity of your choice. Cremation services provided by Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton.
