Stephen McGruder Obituary
Stephen C. McGruder, of Binghamton, NY, and formerly of Ithaca, NY, and NYC, was born in Waverly, NY to Jasper and Eunice McGruder. Stephen was a bright, creative individual who enjoyed a career in vintage clothing and merchandising. Through his years in retail, he made many friends and was known for his humor and outgoing nature. We will remember him for his larger than life personality.
He is survived by his siblings: Henry McGruder of Waverly, NY; Martha (Richard) Dellinger of Redwood City, CA; Joann Goldbas of Ithaca, NY; LaBerta McGruder of Ithaca, NY; Jasper (Sharon) McGruder, Jr., of NYC; Carol McGruder of Waverly, NY; James (David) McGruder of Elmira, NY; and Sharon (Ronald) Best of Ithaca, NY. Stephen was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Phyllis Chase and Beth McGruder; and his brothers, Roger McGruder, and Charles McGruder.
