Yvonne Crossman Obituary

Yvonne M. Crossman, 83, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2019 at the Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, where she had resided the past three weeks. The family wishes to thank her care team for the great care they provided.
She was born in Fulton, NY, one of nine children born to Burt and Ernestine (Peckham) Fox, all of whom pre-deceased her.

Yvonne was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Most of her married life she lived with her husband in Lafayette, NY, moving to Lake Worth, Florida after her husband's retirement. In 2016 they returned to New York and settled in Whitney Point, to be closer to family and friends. Her greatest joys were getting together with her family, playing poker and Skip-Bo, as well as traveling to casinos and playing BINGO, most recently Monday evenings at the Elk's Lodge in Endicott.
Yvonne is survived by Joseph Crossman, her husband and best friend of 63 years and their children; Richard Crossman, Susan (Mike) Langton, Alan Crossman and Randy (Deborah) Crossman, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service to be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Yvonne's memory.
