She never mentioned her illness on face book posts. What a brave person she was but also fortunate to be so loved by her family and friends.

We will always treasure the memories that Mom Bender created with us! The wonderful family times we spent with her and dad have always been so precious to us. We will continue to keep those memories in our hearts and revisit them often. She loved us as if we were her own. She sacrificed so much when she decided to welcome Mark into her life as a son and we are forever grateful. We can't believe how quickly she was called away, but we are praising God she did not have to linger in discomfort. Our hope in the Lord and eternal life will get us though these sad empty days.
