Harold was a dedicated bicycle rider and for years lead the STBC, Inc. Sunday Morning bicycle rides to breakfast after many of us gathered at the JC Floral Avenue Fire Station. He was a most friendly, gentle and helpful person who interacted easily with all. He also hiked regularly with the TCHC. I recall being with Harold at Rec Park watching the Chris Thater bicycle race when a young lad took Harold's bicycle that was parked nearby. We gave chase on our bicycles but never recovered Harold's machine. Harold was able to laugh about it. A great guy!! He loved to ride and to go out for breakfast….
