I am so sorry to hear of Horst's passing. We were friends for so many years, both at work (Link) and the archery club, and our walks at Otsinengo park. Our prayers are with Horst and the family.

Remembering a wonderful neighbor and friend. He helped Emmerich and I with many computer problems and he and Polly were just such great neighbors. Condolences to Polly and family.

Horst was our wonderful neighbor for over thirty years and he will be sorely missed. Always active with his hobbies, and caring for his home. He amazed us with his ability to nurture a crab apple tree to yielding pound sized fruit! He generously shared of his garden and helped fix things when needed. His intelligence and sense of community were readily apparent. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our kind neighbor who's influence will extend to the rest of our days.
Our deepest condolences to the family. May God bless and comfort you.
With Sympathy,
Chip & Bonnie Ballard

I am so sorry for your loss. I've only known Horst for a short time, but in that time he made such an impact! He touched the lives of many people and was well loved. He will be greatly missed by everyone at Mountain Trail Bowhunters..

Horst and I met when I first joined Mountain Trail Bowhunters.
We stayed in touch after I left the area and have remained friends.
He always brightened my day with his email.
May God bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief.
Please accept my sincere condolences.

I consider myself a real friend of Horst during his career at CAE Link. I have thought of him often during the years since my retirement. I retired in 1996 after 30 years. Horst always had a smile and a happy word to say. He also always seemed to elevate the mood of those around him. He will be missed.
